Muse is dedicated to providing an ever-changing creative concept which
will forge relationships between people, art and the community. Our
mission is to create an environment that stimulates creative growth by
introducing people to new artists and providing personal handmade gifts.
We are committed to creatively giving back to the community and catering
to each customers' individual needs.
The Muse sells one of a kind and few of a kind gifts. We offer a wide price range of products so that everyone can enjoy shopping at the Muse. Our customers enjoy our selectively chosen home accessories, stationary, jewelry, great cocktail and partyware, and many more accessories. We also offer works exclusive to the Muse, including artful scarves by artist Ellen Clemmer. Whatever you are searching for, you are sure to find the perfect gift for yourself or someone special.
The
Muse was opened in July of 2003 by Whitney Bingham. 
Whitney
was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the
University of Pittsburgh and began her career in retail. Throughout
her life she has had a love for arts and crafts. She started the
Muse as a way of creating a career out of surrounding herself with fun
artwork and meeting many interesting people. She also has a studio
in the store so that she can continue her own choice of medium-fiber.
